I deeply believe that nutrition refers to the power of your food to transform the way you look and feel.The food you eat doesn’t just give you energy, it supports your body’s processes and influences the way you perform. There are so many ways to improve the quality of our nutritional habits to give our bodies the tools they need to repair, detox and feel their very best.
I think we all know the type of foods we should avoid. Sugar, fried food, processed foods, etc. If there are more than 5 ingredients or words I am unable to pronounce, I do my best to stay away from them.
What about the other ways we feed our bodies? What about our mindset? Are you upset when you sit down to eat, or are you even sitting down at all. Are you rushed or stressed? These are things that can prevent our bodies from digesting our food well.
Do inventory with your daily routine. Are there any habits that need changing, or habits to add to help you be your best self. We really need to take the time to review and improve any aspects of our lives that we know need to change. Let’s be in charge of the way we show up in this world!
Remember, we are not changing everything all at once. Pick apart one thing at a time. The further you get the better you will feel!
